Job summary

Normet Group in Jaipur, India invites an experienced Operations & Production Planning professional to align demand, materials, capacity and resources to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will drive production scheduling, material planning, capacity utilization, and ERP-based planning while collaborating with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Stores and Sales to optimize lead times and inventory.

Qualifications

• B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics.
• 5–6 years of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient ERP planning, MRP, and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production to meet delivery commitments.
• Coordinate material availability and capacity planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, supply chain, engineering, QA.
• Maintain ERP-based planning and generate MIS reports.

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of the role is to ensure effective production planning, scheduling, and control of manufacturing operations by aligning customer demand, material availability, production capacity, and resource utilization. The role aims to achieve on-time delivery commitments, optimize manufacturing lead times and inventory levels, ensure efficient utilization of resources, and maintain smooth production flow through effective ERP-based planning, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Relevant Work Experience
  • Relevant experience in production planning and control within a manufacturing environment, including production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, inventory control, and production order monitoring. Experience in ERP-based planning, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365, and coordinating with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Stores to ensure material availability, resolve production bottlenecks, and achieve customer delivery commitments. Experience in data analysis, MIS reporting, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement is preferred. Exposure to customized equipment or discrete manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Main interactions of the role: -

Regular interaction with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales & S&OP, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Operations Management to align production plans, material availability, capacity, and customer delivery commitments. Coordination with suppliers and other group functions as required.
