Job summary

Smartworld Developers Pvt Ltd is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years post-qualification experience to lead GST compliance. You will manage GST filings, reconciliations, audits, and regulatory matters with a hands-on approach and SAP-enabled processes.

The role requires strong GST knowledge, willingness to coordinate with internal teams, and proactive monitoring of GST changes to ensure timely compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of GST laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience with GST reconciliations and ITC reconciliations.
• Familiarity with GST audits and regulatory matters.
• Ability to coordinate and support audits and timely closure of audit queries.

Responsibilities

• Strong working knowledge of GST laws and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience with SAP for finance-related processes, accounting, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Manage GST compliances, including filing/review of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns.
• Perform and monitor GST reconciliations, including ITC reconciliation and utilization.
• Coordinate and support statutory, internal, and tax audits, particularly GST-related matters, and ensure timely closure of audit queries.
• Handle GST notices, assessments, departmental queries, and related correspondence.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of records in accordance with GST and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in GST laws, rules, notifications, and circulars and ensure their timely implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and accurate GST compliance across business operations.
