Job Position: Senior Manager (GST)
Job Description:
- Participate in engagements and compliances related to Indirect taxation-mainly Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Customs.
- Responsible for complete execution of the assigned engagements, including preparation and assistance with return filing and report generation.
- Build internal networks to develop understanding of service line offerings and bring potential opportunities to the attention of the team.
- Understand basic technical issues during reviewing data and bring discrepancies/additional data requirements to the attention of the team.
- Work with client’s finance team to ensure tax payments and approvals are done on time.
- Ensure timely filing and tracking of tax returns by maintaining a calendar for assigned clients.
- Assist with tax audits, tax research, and other special projects as required.
Research & Technical Inputs
- Conduct exhaustive research for clients in line with their expectations.
- Ensure usage of all tools (External market data/internal portals) to generate effective compliance results.
- Well-versed in drafting of legal documents, including Reply of notice, Appeal, Writ, etc.
- Good knowledge of Tax Laws.
- Well-versed with Research on legal issues & applying them to the specific problem of clients.
- Well-versed with interpretation of statutes.
- Monthly submission of one article.
- Giving presentations to the client.
- Travel across all locations.

Competence Requirements:
- Qualified CA with minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience.
- Excellent English Communication (Reading & Writing Skills).
- Team Leader.
- Well-versed with MS office and few accounting software, preferably SAP and Tally
- Must be able to join before 31st March
