We are seeking an experienced Alfresco + Java Developer with strong expertise in Alfresco Process Services (APS), Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF), and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing Alfresco Process Services solutions, implementing new features, modernizing and upgrading the Alfresco platform, resolving production issues, and delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade solutions using Alfresco Process Services (APS).
• Analyze existing workflows and business processes to identify optimization and modernization opportunities.
• Customize and extend the Alfresco platform to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop integrations between Alfresco and enterprise applications using APIs and integration frameworks.
• Build scalable and distributed applications using microservices architecture.
• Participate in Alfresco platform upgrades and modernization initiatives to ensure alignment with supported versions.
• Develop and maintain Alfresco workflows, business rules, permissions, repositories, and customized templates.
• Utilize Alfresco APIs and integration frameworks to implement business functionality.
• Collaborate with business users, product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to solution design for content management and platform modernization initiatives.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Create and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests.

Required Skills and Expertise

Alfresco / Process Services

• Strong hands-on experience with Alfresco Process Services (APS) and Alfresco Application Development Framework (ADF).
• Deep understanding of enterprise workflow management concepts and process automation using Alfresco APS.
• Experience in Alfresco customization, configuration, workflow development, API integration, and ADF template customization.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level process management solutions.
• Experience integrating Alfresco with external applications and enterprise systems.
• Strong understanding of workflows, permissions, repositories, content management concepts, and ADF customizations.
• Ability to analyze existing implementations and recommend technical improvements.
• Experience with Alfresco platform upgrades, migration, and modernization initiatives is highly desirable.

Java & Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Java (preferably Java 17 or later).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and enterprise application development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend service development.
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with significant expertise in Java and enterprise application development.
• Hands-on experience with Alfresco platforms and enterprise process management solutions.
