Role: Senior Software Engineer (Java Alfresco)

Experience: 3-9 years

Job Location: Pune (Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days WFH) / Remote

Shift: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Note: We are open to 100% remote candidates outside Pune. Preference will be given to those who can start immediately or within a week. While the JD mentions experience as a 'nice to have', to be a strong fit, candidates must have a minimum of 2.5 years+ of recent hands-on Alfresco development experience.

About the Role

You will work with technologies such as:

• Framework: Spring Framework, Angular, YUI
• API: RESTful APIs
• Development and deployment: GitHub, Jenkins, Concourse CI, Maven
• Container: Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud: AWS, Terraform

Responsibilities

• Develop highly maintainable backend and frontend code for our content and metadata platform, utilizing modern web technologies (Web Components, Node.js, Typescript).
• Create deployment scripts (infrastructure as code).
• As a full-stack developer, contribute across the application lifecycle, including devops, cloud, monitoring, and testing automation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience; a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Java Spring Framework and front-end technologies (HTML/JS); adaptability to new tools is highly valued.
• Understanding of software development processes.
• Ability to test, analyze data, and continuously improve.
• Knowledge of RESTful services (status codes, operation types, payload formats).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Experience with version control (preferably Git) and code reviews.
• Experience writing and implementing unit tests.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Alfresco version 5.x and above.
