Role Requirements

Candidates will have at least 3 years experience and key technical skills should include:

Technical:

1. Strong core Java experience. Experience with Java SE 8 and 11.

2. Good understanding of SOLID principles, OOP and its associated design skills and patterns

3. Experience of application development using the Spring framework

4. Demonstrable work experience as a programmer in a distributed team environment

5. Experience of at least one RDBMS

6. Experience of delivering projects through agile processes and practices

7. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

8. Expected to document and share knowledge

9. Able to anticipate performance bottlenecks, and when not to prematurely optimize

10. Able to leverage asynchronous programming techniques, queuing, caching, logging, security and persistence when appropriate

11. Experience of unit testing, integration testing, Maven, Git, and Continuous Integration
