Job summary

LAZ Parking Pittsburgh Airport is seeking a Commercial Shuttle Dispatcher to join the team. The role involves greeting and coordinating passengers, safely operating shuttle vehicles, and promoting excellent guest service during overnight shifts.

Requirements include a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, Class A or B license, ability to read, write and speak English, and a valid Medical Card or ability to pass a DOT physical. This is a full-time, driving position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company shuttle vehicles.

• Demonstrate ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily driving tasks.

• PAY Range: $24.00/HR bi-weekly
• SHIFTS: Full-time Overnight (this is a DRIVING POSITION)

The Spirit Of The Position

A LAZ CDL Dispatcher representative will greet, transmit and check in/out guests' through the shuttle process. On some occasions, a dispatcher will have to drive a shuttle van/bus with the shuttle team if needed. You must be able to promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude and travel safely within the terminal grounds.

• Must have a valid DL
• Must have Class A or B License
• Must have passenger endorsement
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.

Principle Job Duties

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• GET 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements

• 1-2+ years with a CDL w/ passenger endorsement
• Class A or B license
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

• Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs.
• Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
