Job summary

ReavR.io is seeking a video editor to elevate our AI-built video content for US clients. You will craft short-form Meta ads, long-form YouTube videos repurposed into Shorts and Reels, and refine AI footage with pacing, transitions, sound design, captions, motion graphics, and color grading.

You should be fluent with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut, understand J-cuts and speed ramps, and be comfortable working with AI tools and templates to ship at volume.

Qualifications

• Proficient in video editing for ads with a strong sense of storytelling and pacing.
• Able to explain advanced editing techniques (J-cuts, speed ramps, masking, keyframing, grading).
• Willing to work with AI-assisted workflows and learn the in-house stack.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video ads for Meta (talking-head, UGC, AI avatar).
• Produce long-form YouTube videos and clip into Shorts/Reels.
• Polish AI footage with pacing, transitions, sound design, captions, motion graphics, color.
• Create newer versions of winning ads with fresh hooks and formats.
• Improve the process by developing templates, presets and faster workflows.

ReavR is a performance marketing agency. We run Meta ads and lead gen for US businesses, mostly local home services. We've managed about $5M in lifetime ad spend across 35+ accounts.

Video is now the biggest ask from every client we work with, so we've built our own AI video process. We make avatar videos in HeyGen and generate footage with Higgsfield and Seedance. Voiceovers come from ElevenLabs, scripts and structure from Claude, and some edits are built in Remotion. The videos are done and clients are running them.

We built all of this without a real video editor. Now we want one. We need someone who knows the craft to take what we make and make it much better, and then help us make a lot more of it.

What you'll work on

• Short-form video ads for Meta: talking-head, UGC-style, before/after and AI avatar ads
• Long-form YouTube videos for clients, built with AI, then clipped into Shorts and Reels
• Making AI footage look and feel finished through pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design, captions, motion graphics and color
• New versions of winning ads (new hooks, openers and formats) for testing
• Improving the process itself: turning our steps into templates, presets and faster workflows so we can ship at volume

Who we're looking for

• A video editor first. You know Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut properly, not just the basics.
• You know the technical names for things, like J-cuts, speed ramps, masking, keyframing and grading. A lot of what makes a video good is hard to explain to an AI, and you'll be the person who can explain it.
• You're curious about AI tools or already use them. You don't need to know our stack on day one because we'll train you on it.
• You care about ads that sell, not just videos that look nice. That means hooking viewers in the first 3 seconds, keeping them watching, and ending with a clear call to action.

How it works

• Full-time and remote
• You’ll work directly with me, with at least 4 to 6 hours of overlap each day. Our clients are in the US, so part of your day will overlap with US Eastern time.
• I’ll train you on the full process and tools. After that the goal is simple: better videos, and more of them.
• We’re looking to start right away.
