Job summary

SA Technologies Inc. is hiring an AI Solutions Lead for Strategic Sourcing in Pune to shape and deliver AI-enabled procurement transformations. You will own the AI solution lifecycle from problem framing to deployment, collaborating with data engineers, IT security, and business stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in ML/AI, hands-on experience building GenAI solutions, and strong Python/API skills to prototype and implement scalable AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, data science, supply chain, or related field.
• Deep expertise across GenAI stack and practical Python/API proficiency to prototype AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing system-of-systems AI pipelines and agent harnesses.
• 3–5 years of experience in ML/AI, software solutions or related technology roles.

Responsibilities

• AI Opportunity Discovery: partner with stakeholders to identify high-value problems and map AI value.
• Co-develop, AI Agents: design end-to-end multi‑agent solutions for sourcing workflows with rapid prototyping.
• Optimize Procurement: build AI solutions for supplier research, RFx, spend analysis, insights.
• Integrate Systems: define data/integration needs and work with SAP/PLM integrations.
• Deploy RAG Pipelines: enable deep analysis of supplier contracts and procurement knowledge.
• Govern and Monitor: establish guardrails and monitor model performance and tokens usage.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: partner with managers, data engineers and IT security teams.

JobDescription:

This role defines and executes Kohler’sStrategic Sourcing digital AI transformation agenda by shaping and deliveringinnovative, AI-enabled technology solutions.

This person has ownership of the AI solution lifecycle for within StrategicSourcing, from from identifying business problems and designing solutions todevelopment, implementation, and value realization.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in transforming businessprocesses using AI, can develop robust AI agents, and effectively collaborateswith enterprise technology teams for integration, data engineering,cybersecurity, and production deployment. This role ensures rapid prototypingand agile delivery to meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• AI Opportunity Discovery: Partner with Strategic Sourcing leaders, Category Managers and crossfunctional teams to identify high value business problems, redesign workflowsand determine where AI, automation or traditional solutions can createmeasurable value.
  
• Co-develop, AI Agents: Scope & Design end-to-end multi-agent systems for sourcingworkflows by translating business needs intoAI-driven solutions, with afocus on rapid prototyping.
  
• Optimize Procurement: Find use cases & build AI solution for them for example automatesupplier research, RFx creation, spend analysis, sourcing insights, analyticsetc.
  
• Integrate Systems: Define the data, system and integration requirements required for AIsolutions and partner with Data Engineering, IT teams to establish integrationwith SAP/ PLM/ other data sources as needed.
  
• Deploy RAG Pipelines: Enable deep analysis of complex supplier contracts and procurementknowledge.
  
• Govern and Monitor: Establish guardrails for accurate, secure, compliant outputs; monitorplatform health, model performance, and optimize resource/ tokens usage.
  
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Category Managers, SourcingLeadership, Data Engineers, and IT Security teams.
  

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain,or related technical field.
  
• Deep expertise across the modern GenAI stack: LLMs, agents, RAG, vector databases,embeddings, prompt engineering, and evaluation harnesses. Proficiency in Pythonand APIs sufficient to independently prototype and build AI solutions.
  
• Hands-on experience designing system-of-systems AI pipelines spanning search, retrieval,agent harnesses, and model selection/triage.
  
• 3-5 years of experience across ML/AI, software solutions, automation or related technologyroles, including recent hands-on experience designing and building GenerativeAI or agentic AI solutions.
  

Additional skills

• Domain Experience: Experience applying AI or data science solutions in StrategicSourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
  
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft AI stack: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AISearch, and supporting Azure infrastructure including Databricks.
  
• Business Translation: Ability to convert complex AI concepts into clear procurement valuefor stakeholders.
