Job summary

Apex Group Ltd is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to design end-to-end AI agent solutions for priority business use cases, involving custom agents and platform integrations. You will own architecture from discovery through production handoff to engineering teams.

Role requires 4–8 years in solution engineering, strong knowledge of LLMs, and hands-on Python prototyping. Preference for experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot or Anthropic Claude and a background in financial services.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience in solution engineering, technical consulting, or applied ML/AI engineering.
• Strong understanding of LLM/agent capabilities and limitations, and how to design around them.
• Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into technical solution designs.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for prototyping; comfortable reading production code.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed AI agent solution designs (workflows, data/tool requirements, guardrails, success metrics).
• Prototype and validate agent solutions with stakeholders prior to full engineering build-out.
• Define the tool, data, and knowledge-base integrations required for each agent solution.
• Partner with Agentic Engineers on implementation, providing design clarifications and reviewing build fidelity against the design.
• Define evaluation criteria and success metrics for each agent solution, and analyze pilot results.
• Act as subject-matter expert on agentic design patterns for business stakeholders and other engineers.

Job Summary

Designs end-to-end AI agent solutions for priority business use cases spanning custom-built agents, Anthropic Claude-based agents, and Microsoft 365 Copilot extensions owning solution architecture from discovery through production handoff to Agentic Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Excellent stakeholder communication and requirements-gathering skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a solutions architect, pre-sales engineer, or product-facing technical role.
• Hands-on experience designing and prototyping solutions on Microsoft 365 Copilot (Copilot Studio, Graph connectors) and/or Anthropic Claude (Agent SDK, MCP).
• Domain experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
