Job summary

Apex Group Ltd in Pune/Bangalore is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain AI agents and components. You will focus on tool integration, prompt-to-action pipelines, and agent workflow testing. 1-5 years of experience in software or ML engineering is expected, with Python and API integration skills.

The role requires basic LLM knowledge, version control, and CI/CD familiarity. Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Working proficiency in Python and REST/GraphQL API integration.
• Basic understanding of LLM concepts: prompting, embeddings, tool/function calling.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD basics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains AI agents and agent components under guidance of senior engineers.
• Integrate tools, APIs, and data sources into agent tool-use pipelines.
• Write and maintain unit/integration tests and evaluation harnesses for agent behavior.
• Debug agent failures, hallucinations, and tool-call errors; document causes and fixes.
• Support senior engineers in deploying agents to staging and production environments.
• Follow secure coding, data-handling, and model-usage standards.

Builds and maintains individual AI agents and agent components under the guidance of senior engineers, focusing on tool integration, prompt-to-action pipelines, and testing of agentic workflows.

• Integrate tools, APIs, and data sources into agent tool-use pipelines.

• Support senior engineers in deploying agents to staging and production environments.

• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector).
