Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Pune, India, seeks an Assistant Vice President to lead the AI Program Management Office and Resource Management within the Indra Chief Strategy Office. You will drive governance, tracking, and resource planning for a portfolio of AI initiatives across global teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or related roles in large-scale transformations.
  • Strong experience in resource planning, capacity management, workforce reporting, and governance within a global organization.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, and governance materials for senior leadership.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools; strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, technology, or large transformation programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI, data, analytics, or technology programs advantageous.

Role Description

  • Indra is the central program driving the introduction and safe scaling of AI at Deutsche Bank. The program focuses on identifying AI opportunities across banking operations, accelerating funded use cases into production, creating enterprise AI capabilities, enabling safe and scalable AI adoption, and establishing the governance framework required to support responsible AI deployment across the bank.

  • As an AVP within the Indra Chief Strategy Office team, you will play a key role in supporting program governance, workforce management, resource planning, financial tracking, stakeholder reporting, and execution oversight across a complex portfolio of AI initiatives. You will work closely with global program leadership, product teams, technology partners, finance, HR, and senior stakeholders to ensure effective resource allocation, transparent reporting, and successful program delivery.

  • You will join a global team responsible for driving AI transformation across Deutsche Bank and contribute to scaling AI adoption through strong program management disciplines and operational excellence.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support program governance activities, including steering committee materials, management updates, milestone tracking, risk and issue management, and action tracking.

  • Develop and maintain executive reporting dashboards and management information packs, providing transparency on program delivery, resource utilization, and operational metrics.

  • Drive consistency in project management standards, reporting frameworks, governance documentation, and execution controls across the program.

  • Support strategic workforce planning and resource capacity assessments to ensure alignment between program demand and available capabilities.

  • Partner with global teams to track key program deliverables, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements across multiple workstreams.

  • Facilitate stakeholder communications and ensure timely escalation and resolution of program-related issues.

  • Maintain program-wide workforce and resource management processes across AI initiatives, ensuring accurate tracking of headcount, capacity, demand, and supply.

  • Manage resource planning activities, including forecasting, onboarding, offboarding, hiring demand, contractor management, and workforce reporting.

  • Coordinate with Finance, HR, Procurement, and business stakeholders to support budget planning, cost tracking, workforce approvals, and resource governance processes.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in PMO, Program Management, Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Business Management roles within large-scale transformation programs.

  • Strong experience in resource planning, capacity management, workforce reporting, and governance within a global organization.

  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, dashboards, management reports, and governance materials for senior leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience within banking, financial services, technology, or large transformation programs is preferred.

  • Familiarity with AI, data, analytics, or technology programs would be advantageous.

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
