Zoca is seeking an AI Product Manager to own development, optimization, and scaling of one core AI agent. You will drive end-to-end ownership from conception to measurable outcomes for local businesses.

This role blends product management with AI researcher and execution responsibilities, focusing on making AI agents more intelligent, reliable, and impactful. You will collaborate across engineering, data science, and customer success to deliver tangible value.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in product management, AI/ML product development, or technical program management.
• Direct experience building or optimizing AI-powered products.
• Understanding of machine learning workflows, model training, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with engineering teams on complex technical products.
• Track record of shipping products that solve real customer problems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of your assigned AI agent (Lead Generation, Retention, or Local SEO).
• Drive customer-centric improvements by translating salon owners' feedback into agent enhancements.
• Optimize agent performance with ML engineers and data scientists to improve accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer success, and other AI PMs to ship improvements across the platform.
• Build and execute strategic roadmaps for agent evolution over 6–12 months.

The Role

We’re looking for an AI Product Manager to own the development, optimization, and scaling of one of our core AI agents. You’ll be responsible for taking our agent from its current state to a world-class, autonomous system that delivers guaranteed outcomes for local businesses.

This isn’t a traditional PM role. You’ll be part product manager, part AI researcher, part customer advocate, and part execution machine - all focused on making our AI agents more intelligent, reliable, and impactful.

You’ll own

Lead Generation Agent OR Retention/Loyalty Agent OR Local SEO Agent (based on experience and interest)

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end development of your assigned AI agent (Lead Generation, Retention, or Local SEO) - from optimization to scaling to measurable customer outcomes


• Drive customer-centric improvements by spending time with salon owners and wellness professionals, translating their feedback into agent enhancements that deliver more bookings and revenue


• Optimize agent performance by working with ML engineers and data science to improve model accuracy, automation reliability, and response quality using real customer data


• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, customer success, and other AI Program Managers to ship agent improvements and ensure seamless integration across the platform


• Build and execute strategic roadmaps for your agent’s evolution over 6-12 months, identifying new capabilities and use cases that strengthen competitive positioning


• Measure and report impact by tracking agent performance metrics, business outcomes, and customer satisfaction to ensure your agent becomes indispensable to local businesses

Required Experience

• 2-4 years in product management, AI/ML product development, or technical program management


• Direct experience building or optimizing AI-powered products (not just using AI tools)


• Understanding of machine learning workflows, model training, and performance optimization


• Experience working with engineering teams on complex technical products


• Track record of shipping products that solve real customer problems

AI/ML Technical Understanding

• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI systems


• Understanding of training data requirements, model evaluation, and performance metrics


• Experience with AI agent frameworks, automation workflows, or similar systems


• Comfort working with APIs, data pipelines, and technical integrations


• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
