Who we’re looking for: An AI Product Builder who thinks in terms of problems, systems, and leverage — and is excited to use AI to turn ideas into working solutions. You’re someone who likes getting your hands dirty, experimenting with new tools, and building and testing solutions quickly, with a strong bias toward action and real-world validation.

What the role is about: At Kraftshala, you’ll work on problems across student experience, revenue (admissions, sales, marketing), and internal operations. You’ll identify opportunities, figure out what to build, and use AI, automation, and modern tools to turn ideas into working products, workflows, and systems. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to take validated solutions from prototype to production.

The Detailed Version

As an AI Product Builder at Kraftshala, you’ll be at the intersection of product, technology, and business. You’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to understand how they work, spot opportunities for improvement, and build solutions that make a meaningful difference.

You’ll be expected to move quickly from understanding to experimentation — using AI and modern tools to explore different approaches, build prototypes, and learn what works. As solutions take shape, you’ll work with the right teams to refine, scale, and improve them.

A core expectation in this role is the ability to build quickly and learn through experimentation — using AI-assisted development, LLMs, APIs, integrations, automation, and modular systems to turn ideas into usable solutions, validate them in real contexts, and iterate based on what you learn.

What you’ll own:

• Find & Understand Problems: Work with users and teams to identify meaningful problems, understand what’s causing them, and figure out what is worth solving.
• Build & Prototype: Turn ideas into working prototypes, tools, workflows, and automations using AI and modern development tools. Metrics to measure: Time from idea to prototype, number of experiments shipped
• Test & Iterate: Put what you build in front of real users, learn from feedback and data, and improve the solution based on what you learn. Metrics to measure: Adoption, iteration velocity, solution effectiveness
• Ship & Improve: Work with product and engineering teams to take validated solutions into production and continuously improve them based on usage and impact. Metrics to measure: Delivery speed, adoption, business impact

How you’ll operate:

• You move fluidly between understanding the problem and building the solution
• You use AI as a force multiplier across research, prototyping, development, and execution
• You default to building and testing, rather than spending too long planning

Monthly Outcomes

Month 1:

• Build a strong understanding of Kraftshala’s users, systems, and business priorities
• Identify and validate meaningful problems worth solving
• Build and ship at least one small prototype, automation, or workflow improvement

Month 2:

• Own a problem from understanding to solution
• Build, test, and iterate on prototypes using AI and modern tools
• Ship at least one meaningful product, workflow, or automation improvement

Month 3+:

• Take on increasingly complex problems and build solutions with greater autonomy
• Run faster build-test-learn cycles and improve what you ship based on real-world feedback
• Deliver solutions that create measurable improvements in user experience, revenue, or operational efficiency

Must Haves:

• 1–2 years of experience in Product, a builder, technical, or closely related role — startup experience is a plus. (We’re not fussed about the exact years of experience, as that’s just a proxy for your skill level.)
• Have built and shipped something — a digital product, tool, prototype, workflow, automation, or similar.
• Hands‑on experience with AI-assisted development, APIs, automation, no-code/low-code, or modern development tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a bias for action.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving contexts.
• Strong user empathy, product intuition, and communication skills.

Technical Exercise: This is a specific assessment designed to evaluate your fit for this role.

Conversation 1: This will be a detailed assessment review conversation to go over your submission for the technical exercise along with other competencies required for the role.

Conversation 2: A conversation with our CEO to ensure that there is a fit with the Kraftshala Kode.
