Job summary

KatalAiser is seeking a Data & AI Presales Consultant in Chennai/Bengaluru to guide customers through data and AI solution architecture, conduct demos, and develop PoCs. The role requires 5–8 years in presales or related fields and strong knowledge of AI/ML platforms.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery to craft customer-specific AI/data solutions and support RFPs and fitment analyses.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Technical Sales, or a related customer-facing tech role.
• Strong experience in Data, AI, ML, Analytics, or Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a Data & AI Presales Consultant with 5–8 years of experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical sales, with strong expertise in Data, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and enterprise technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to understand business requirements, design solution propositions, conduct product demonstrations, and support the complete presales lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Design and present Data, AI, and Generative AI solution architectures.
• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations.
• Develop proof of concepts (PoCs), proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documents.
• Explain the business value and technical capabilities of AI and data solutions to enterprise customers.
• Work with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams to develop customer-specific solutions.
• Support opportunity qualification, discovery sessions, solution design, and commercial discussions.
• Demonstrate expertise in GenAI, LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, and AI platforms.
• Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
• Support customer meetings, industry events, webinars, and technical workshops.
• Assist the sales team in converting qualified opportunities into successful business wins.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Consulting, Technical Sales, or a related customer-facing technology role.
• Strong experience in Data, AI, Machine Learning, Analytics, or Generative AI solutions.
• Hands‑on understanding of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Databases, and AI Agents.
• Experience in designing and presenting enterprise technology solutions.
• Strong experience in customer‑facing presentations, product demonstrations, PoCs, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Good understanding of cloud AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.
• Strong communication, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
