Job summary

Srmap seeks a motivated R&D Trainee for its Mechanical Development team in Chennai. This fixed-term trainee/internship role provides hands-on engineering exposure and documentation experience.

You will assist senior engineers, learn discipline design processes, and contribute to design specs, test reports, and data analysis while aligning with the digitalization roadmap. A strong willingness to learn and stay current with industry trends is essential.

• Follow the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to ensure efficiency.
• Identify potential improvements to existing processes based on experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation such as design specifications and test reports.
• Collect, analyze, and report technical data to support informed decision-making within the team.
• Apply established Discipline design processes and methodologies proficiently.
• Adhere to the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap, utilizing designated tools and processes to ensure work efficiency.
• Contribute to identifying potential improvements to existing processes and methodologies based on experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clear and concise information exchange.
