Job Description

We are seeking a skilled AI Infrastructure & Ops Engineer to own our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and operational reliability. You will build, maintain, and automate our AWS-based infrastructure and use AI tools to do it faster. Scripting, IaC, observability, and incident response are your domain.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Use AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) actively for infrastructure scripting, Terraform code generation, runbook documentation, and incident analysis. This is mandatory, not optional.
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Ruby/Bash) to reduce toil and eliminate recurring operational issues.
• Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Build monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks to ensure platform health.
• Develop software integrations with internal back-end systems.
• Manage containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Establish and maintain security practices, access controls, and compliance standards relevant to fintech.
• Write progress reports and deliver clear communication to engineering and product stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Git).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python or Ruby.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• AI-First (Mandatory): Active user of AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) for scripting, automation, and infrastructure documentation. Must demonstrate real workflow usage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to reliability and uptime.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch).
• Exposure to fintech compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
• Experience with microservices architecture.

Education & Experience

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years platform/DevOps experience with demonstrated AWS depth and automation mindset.
