Job summary

TalentOnLease Private Limited is seeking an experienced backend developer to design, implement, and scale backend services using Python and FastAPI on Azure. You will build RESTful APIs and microservices, integrate Azure OpenAI and other Azure AI capabilities, and deploy to Microsoft Azure.

Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, DevOps, and business stakeholders; ensure security, logging, and performance; maintain clean, documented code and participate in code reviews.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Python development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, API development, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM integrations.
• Proficient with Python frameworks, libraries, and best practices.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 or JWT authentication.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Must-Have Skills

• 4-7 years of experience in Python development.

• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).
• Experience working with vector databases or embeddings.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AI agents or Agentic AI solutions.

Education

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
