Job summary

TheWebVale is seeking an AI Engineer to develop practical AI automations and language model integrations that boost client productivity and scale across platforms.

You will collaborate with full‑stack developers and the founder on focused two‑to-three week release cycles, design reliable prompt pipelines, and implement structured outputs while ensuring clients maintain control over how models are used. This remote-first role includes a Bhopal studio for hybrid days.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of software development experience with focused work in AI/ML.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript with async API integration.
• Experience connecting language model APIs from major providers (OpenAI/Anthropic/Google).
• Understanding of vector embeddings, similarity search, and chunking strategies.
• Git version control and clear documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Integrate language models into web and mobile backends.
• Design prompt templates with strict validation for structured JSON outputs.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with vector embeddings and similarity search.
• Implement caching to reduce model API usage and latency.
• Write automated evaluation scripts to detect hallucination and drift.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to stream model outputs into UIs.
