Job summary

Automation Anywhere in Bengaluru seeks an AI Engineer to build and operate AI-powered automation with LangChain patterns, LLM APIs, and RAG pipelines. You will own end-to-end workflows, integrate with UiPath/AA/Power Automate, and deliver production-ready solutions.

You will work closely with Senior Engineers, design scalable pipelines, implement tests, and participate in CI/CD to ensure reliability and observability of agent-based systems.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in software engineering; 2+ years building AI-powered or automation solutions in production.
• Evidence of delivering complete, working solutions — not just experimental or prototype work.
• Experience with end-to-end AI agents and RAG pipelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on with LangChain/agent patterns and LLM APIs.
• Develop end-to-end RAG pipelines and vector store retrieval.
• Build and maintain multi-agent workflows from designs to production.
• Write unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and document pipelines and configurations.
• Ensure robust error handling and monitoring of deployed systems.

Responsibilities & Skills

Key skills and responsibilities include:

• Hands‑on with LangChain/LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI Core agent patterns: tool use, memory, multi‑step reasoning, output validation; LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open‑source); structured prompt engineering.
• End‑to‑end RAG pipelines: ingestion, chunking, embedding, retrieval evaluation; familiarity with at least one vector database; ability to diagnose & improve retrieval quality.
• Hands‑on with UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate; bot workflows with exception handling, logging & integration with agent layers.
• Strong Python; cloud AI services; APIs, data pipelines & event‑driven systems.
• Exposure to LoRA/QLoRA fine‑tuning (growth area); agent observability tooling (LangSmith, Arize).
• Build and maintain multi‑agent workflows from Solution designs document into production‑ready implementations; implement tool integrations with error handling & graceful degradation.
• Build end‑to‑end RAG pipelines: ingestion, chunking, embedding, vector store & retrieval evaluation; monitor and improve retrieval quality; integrate RAG as knowledge backend for agents.
• Develop and maintain RPA task bots; implement AI agent RPA handoff logic.
• Write unit & integration tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines & prompt versioning; monitor deployed systems; participate in incident response for agent failure modes.
• Work closely with Senior Engineers, taking increasing ownership of components over time; participate in stakeholder use‑case discovery; document pipelines & agent configurations clearly; gather requirements, author technical documentation, and communicate complex AI solutions and risks to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
