Job summary

Goodfit in India is seeking an AI Engineer to build and integrate AI-powered applications using Python and GenAI technologies. You will work with LLMs, embeddings, vector stores and deploy scalable backend services.

You will implement REST APIs with FastAPI/Flask, train and optimize AI features, and leverage cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for deployment. Docker, Git, CI/CD and Linux are used in daily development.

Job description

We are looking for a AI Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, AI/GenAI and Cloud to build and integrate AI-powered applications.

Experience: 0–2 years, preferably 1–2 years relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

AI & GenAI Development

Develop AI/GenAI applications using Python.

Work with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Embeddings and Vector Databases.

Integrate LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, etc.

Develop AI features, APIs and automation workflows.

Python & API Development

Build backend services using Python, FastAPI/Flask.

Develop and integrate REST APIs.

Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.

Perform testing, debugging and performance optimization.

Work with at least one cloud platform: AWS / Azure / GCP.

Deploy and support AI applications on cloud.

Basic knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD and Linux.

Work with cloud-based AI/ML services.

RAG & AI Technologies

Build basic RAG pipelines involving document processing, chunking, embeddings and retrieval.

Work with FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate or similar.

Knowledge of LangChain/LangGraph is preferred.
