Job summary

Careernet in Hyderabad is seeking a senior AI engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI agents that reason over enterprise data and automate business workflows.

You will build reliable interfaces to data warehouses, apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt design, tool calls, and multi-agent orchestration, partnering with data teams to ensure grounded outputs and production-grade systems.

Qualifications

• 11-13 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on AI engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, large language models, and AI agents.
• Experience building agentic applications and interfaces that connect language models with enterprise data and tools.
• Ability to design scalable AI engineering solutions for complex data platform environments.
• Practical understanding of prompt design, tool or function calling, and agent interaction patterns.
