The AI Engineer will play a key role in building and enhancing conversational AI solutions for enterprise platforms.

This role requires hands‑on experience designing, developing, and fine‑tuning AI‑driven agents, with a strong focus on voice and chat‑based conversational systems.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in conversational AI platforms, cloud services, system integrations, and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver conversational AI solutions across voice and chat channels.
• Build and configure AI agents, including intent identification, training, and response optimization.
• Create and manage sub‑agents and enable effective intra‑agent communication.
• Fine‑tune AI model outputs to improve accuracy, relevance, and conversational quality.
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise platforms such as CRM and middleware systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design scalable and maintainable AI architectures.
• Implement CI/CD practices and support automated deployment pipelines.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and integrations using modern programming languages.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance AI workflows and platform performance.
• Work across cloud environments to support deployment, scalability, and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Experience delivering 2–3 projects using the Sierra.AI platform, preferably across voice and chat channels.
• Hands‑on experience in:
• Creating AI agents and training conversational intents
• Building sub‑agents and enabling intra‑agent communication
• Fine‑tuning AI outputs on conversational AI platforms
• Experience working with conversational AI technologies such as Google Dialogflow CX or Conversational Agents, AWS Lex, Amelia, Kore, or similar platforms.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Node.js and Python, with working knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and DevOps workflows.
• Ability to work effectively across cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in designing or architecting large‑scale conversational AI solutions.
• Experience working in multi‑cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
