Job summary

Porcellia is seeking an AI-enabled Video Editor to own an end-to-end, AI-first production workflow. You will turn prompts and briefs into 10 finished videos per day, generating visuals with AI and editing them with prompt-driven tools to deliver on-brand content.

You should have a track record of building repeatable systems—templates, libraries, and batch processes—that ensure quality at volume, with strong collaboration across content and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience editing videos professionally (portfolio required).
• Hands-on with AI image/video generation tools (Midjourney/Runway/Descript, etc.).
• Strong prompt-writing skills for reliable generative results.
• Ability to deliver high-volume work with tight turnarounds.

Responsibilities

• Produce approx. 10 publish-ready videos daily across channels and formats.
• Edit videos from prompts using AI-assisted tools, refine pacing, captions, transitions, audio and colour.
• Generate images, B‑roll, thumbnails and motion assets with AI tools in brand style.
• Write, test and maintain a library of prompts and reusable templates.
• Add captions, voiceovers, music and ensure correct aspect ratios for platforms.
• Run quality checks for brand consistency, accuracy, artifacts and licensing.
• Track output and turnaround time; report insights for iteration.
• Stay updated with new AI video tools and advocate those worth adopting.
• Collaborate with content and marketing on briefs and revisions.

Job description

As our AI-Enabled Video Editor, you will own an end-to-end, AI-first video production workflow. You'll turn prompts, scripts and raw ideas into polished, on-brand videos, generating images and visuals with AI, assembling and editing them with prompt-driven tools, and delivering around 10 finished videos per day.

This role is for someone who has built (or can quickly build) a repeatable system: templates, prompt libraries, and batch processes that keep quality high while volume stays high.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce approximately 10 publish-ready videos per day across our channels and formats (short-form, social, promotional and explainer content).
• Edit videos from text prompts and briefs using AI-assisted editing tools, then refine manually for pacing, cuts, captions, transitions, audio and colour.
• Generate images, B-roll, thumbnails and motion assets with AI image and video generation tools, with consistent style and brand look.
• Write, test and maintain a library of high-performing prompts and reusable templates.
• Add captions, voiceovers, music and sound design, and adapt each video to the correct aspect ratio and platform specs.
• Run quality checks on every output: brand consistency, factual accuracy, artifacts or glitches in AI-generated visuals, and copyright/licensing safety.
• Track output and turnaround time, and report on what's working so we can iterate.
• Stay current with new AI video, image and automation tools, and recommend the ones worth adopting.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing team on briefs, feedback and revisions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience editing videos professionally (portfolio required), with strong command of at least one of: Premiere pro and After effects
• Hands-on experience with AI image and video generation tools (for example Midjourney, Runway, Pika, Kling, Sora, Veo, Firefly, Stable Diffusion, or similar).
• Strong prompt-writing skills: able to get consistent, controllable results from generative tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted editing, captioning, voice and audio tools (for example Descript, ElevenLabs, Opus Clip, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high volume on tight turnarounds without sacrificing quality.
• Good eye for storytelling, pacing, typography and visual design.
• Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a remote setup, with clear written communication.
• Reliable internet connection and a capable computer for editing and rendering.

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow automation (Zapier, Make, n8n) or scripting to speed up batch production.
• Familiarity with LLMs (such as Claude or ChatGPT) for scripting, ideation and prompt refinement.
• Background in social media, performance marketing or short-form content.
• Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar).
• Experience managing brand style guides and asset libraries.
