Job summary

Malbek is seeking an AI-Enabled CLM Consultant to join our Professional Services team in India. This highly technical, customer-facing role is responsible for implementing and optimizing AI-enabled CLM solutions for enterprise customers.

You will translate business requirements into scalable configurations, assist with data migration, AI prompt development, and provide technical consulting. You will work with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure successful outcomes.

Malbek is seeking an AI-Enabled CLM Consultant to join our Professional Services team. This is a highly technical, customer-facing role responsible for implementing and optimizing AI-enabled Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions for enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CLM implementation experience and can quickly contribute to customer success through solution configuration, data migration support, AI prompt development, and technical consulting. This role combines deep CLM expertise with emerging AI capabilities to help customers improve contract processes, increase automation, and maximize the value of our platform.

Working closely with customers and cross-functional teams, including Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, you will translate business requirements into scalable solutions and ensure successful implementation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Implementation & Technical Consulting
• Lead and support customer implementations of AI-enabled CLM solutions from discovery through deployment.
• Gather and analyze customer requirements and translate business processes into effective platform configurations.
• Advise on best practices, phased rollout, dependencies, risks, and scope, and maintain clear implementation documentation.
• Configure CLM solutions, workflows, templates, and AI-enabled capabilities to meet customer needs.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot implementation challenges and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.

AI Prompt Development & Optimization

• Develop, test, and refine prompts to improve AI-driven contract analysis, metadata extraction, document review, search, and automation.
• Evaluate AI outputs and continuously optimize prompts to improve accuracy, consistency, and customer outcomes.
• Create and maintain reusable prompt libraries, documentation, and best practices.
• Stay current with generative AI trends and apply emerging capabilities to customer use cases.
• Data Migration & Configuration
• Support customer data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and quality assurance.
• Analyze contract data and identify data quality issues or configuration requirements.
• Partner with customers to ensure accurate migration and successful adoption of the platform.
• Document technical requirements, solutions, and implementation processes.

Customer Success & Collaboration

• Deliver customer training and knowledge transfer on CLM functionality and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and provide consultative guidance.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to improve customer outcomes.
• Contribute to implementation methodologies, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience implementing Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions in a Professional Services, Customer Success, Implementation Consulting, or Solutions Consulting role.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and map complex data structures and reporting models to customer business requirements. Experience working with data frameworks, analytics models, or knowledge graph architectures is highly desirable.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise SaaS implementations and customer-facing technical projects.
• Experience configuring CLM solutions, workflows, templates, metadata, and business processes.
• Experience developing, testing, and optimizing prompts for generative AI applications and large language models (LLMs).
• Practical exposure to generative-AI use cases (prompt/instruction design, clause analysis, metadata extraction, or summarization) and to evaluating AI outputs.
• Experience supporting data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle processes, contract data, document structures, and workflow automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with experience working directly with U.S.-based customers.
• Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (EST) business hours from India.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, SQL, XML, or data integration concepts is a plus.
