Job summary

Vibehackers is seeking an AI Developer focused on Voice AI to build end-to-end AI applications using LLMs, STT/TTS, and conversational AI. You will contribute to both backend and frontend development with an emphasis on Vibe Coding / AI-assisted development to accelerate implementation and maintain production-quality code.

The role involves R&D, feature design, cost optimization, and collaboration across the full development lifecycle to deliver scalable voice solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python and backend development.
• Frontend experience with React.js and integrating UIs with backend APIs.
• Practical experience with LLMs, STT/TTS, and conversational AI.
• Experience integrating AI APIs and third-party services; understanding of prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of LangChain or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Database knowledge, specifically MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Voice AI applications using LLMs, STT/TTS, and conversational AI.
• Design and implement backend APIs and frontend interfaces for AI applications.
• Integrate and evaluate multiple STT, TTS, LLMs, and third-party AI platforms.
• Develop conversational AI workflows and intelligent voice interactions.
• Perform R&D and PoCs to optimize voice quality, latency, and cost.
• Optimize applications to reduce API and infrastructure costs while maintaining quality.

AI Developer focused on Voice AI applications. You will design and implement full-stack AI applications that combine LLMs, Speech-to-Text (STT), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and conversational AI to deliver high-quality, low-latency voice interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom Voice AI applications according to business and technical requirements.
• Design and implement backend APIs and frontend interfaces for AI applications.
• Integrate and evaluate multiple STT, TTS, LLMs, and third-party AI platforms.
• Develop conversational AI workflows and intelligent voice interactions.
• Perform R&D and proof-of-concepts to select tools balancing voice quality, accuracy, latency, reliability, scalability, and cost.
• Optimize applications to reduce API and infrastructure costs while preserving quality.
• Implement integrations with third-party services and troubleshoot voice quality, response time, and AI accuracy issues.
• Participate across the development lifecycle: requirements, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements

Required Technical Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Python and backend development (REST APIs, asynchronous programming).
• Frontend experience with React.js and integrating UIs with backend APIs.
• Practical experience with LLMs and their APIs, STT and TTS technologies, and conversational AI/agent architecture.
• Experience integrating AI APIs and third-party AI services; understanding of prompt engineering and LLM-based application development.
• Knowledge of LangChain or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Database knowledge, specifically MySQL.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience building Voice AI, conversational agents, voicebots, or similar applications.
• Experience with real-time audio/voice streaming and WebSockets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and AI application deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Experience working with multiple STT/TTS and LLM providers and optimizing AI costs.

Vibe Coding / AI-Assisted Development

• Strong practical experience with Vibe Coding / AI-assisted development; use of AI coding assistants to generate, refactor, debug, test, and optimize production-quality code.
• Ability to review and validate AI-generated code for architecture, security, performance, and coding standards, and to provide effective prompts and context to AI coding tools.
