Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced AI Developer to join its Innovation, Digital Transformation, and AI Enablement team across Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai. You will design and deploy enterprise AI assistants, copilots, and conversational AI solutions within financial services contexts.

You will work on Retrieval Augmented Generation, semantic search, and prompt engineering, integrating with enterprise apps and data sources.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI Services.
• Hands-on prompt engineering and conversational AI development.
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and semantic search.
• Proficiency in .NET/C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and API development.
• Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AI assistants, copilots, and virtual agents.
• Build intelligent workflows using Copilot Studio, Claude, and Azure AI services.
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), semantic search, and prompt strategies.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in full solution lifecycle: design, development, testing, UAT, deployment.
• Create and maintain technical design docs, configuration guides, runbooks, and knowledge materials.
• For senior roles: lead AI solution design initiatives and mentor junior developers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise AI assistants, Copilots, virtual agents, and conversational AI solutions
• Build intelligent workflows and automation solutions using~ Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, Azure AI Services, Related AI technologies
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, semantic search capabilities, prompt engineering strategies, and response optimization techniques
