Alignerr is seeking AI Chatbot Testers for a fully remote hourly contract. You will chat with AI systems, probe responses, and evaluate helpfulness, safety, and tone while reporting clear feedback. No technical background required and you can set your own schedule.

Ideal candidates are naturally curious with strong English writing and the ability to assess response quality objectively. Prior AI or QA experience is not required, making this accessible to many applicants.

About The Role

What You'll Do

• Engage AI chatbots in conversations across a wide range of topics — from everyday questions to creative and complex scenarios
• Evaluate responses for helpfulness, accuracy, safety, and tone
• Identify issues such as factual errors, awkward phrasing, inconsistency, or potential bias
• Push AI limits with creative, nuanced, and challenging prompts
• Submit structured, detailed feedback using provided evaluation tools
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring ideas and asking good questions
• Able to assess response quality objectively and articulate your reasoning clearly
• Strong written communication skills in English
• Comfortable navigating chat-based interfaces
• Detail-oriented and consistent in your evaluations
• No prior AI, tech, or QA experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with writing, editing, journalism, or content evaluation
• Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an end user
• Background in research, critical analysis, or quality assurance
