Job summary

Clair Labs in Bengaluru, India is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to architect and scale AI-driven backend systems and APIs. You will own critical services and help turn ideas into robust production-grade platforms.

You will work with Python and FastAPI, integrate LLMs, vector databases and AI services, design scalable data workflows, and collaborate with AI/ML and product teams to deploy reliable solutions in production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Backend / Software Engineering.
• Strong Python - Mandatory.
• Experience with FastAPI / Flask / Django.
• Strong experience in REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI / LLMs / RAG.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Good understanding of databases and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
• LangChain/LangGraph, vector databases, OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini, Kubernetes, Kafka, and healthcare/life-sciences exposure.
