Job summary

Siemens is seeking an AI Architect to define architectures and roadmaps for generative AI, data foundations, and MLOps, while aligning business and IT strategies across enterprise environments. You will guide solution teams on technology selection, ensure governance, and industrialise AI use cases with robust lifecycle management.

The role requires 8+ years in IT with 3–5 years in AI/Data architecture, strong communication skills, and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/IS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total IT experience with 3–5 years in architecture focused on Data & AI
• Experience designing scalable, robust architectures for enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies, platforms, and enterprise architecture considerations
• Able to translate business demand and IT strategy into reusable AI architecture blueprints and roadmaps
• Excellent communication of AI architecture decisions across business, technical, risk, and compliance communities

Responsibilities

• Define target architectures and roadmaps for generative AI, agentic AI, data foundations, MLOps/LLMOps, integration, observability, and lifecycle management
• Translate business demand and Siemens IT strategy into reusable AI architecture blueprints and strategic roadmaps
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, interoperable, and cost-aware patterns for AI platforms, applications, copilots, and agents
• Guide solution teams on technology selection, deployment, data access, permissions, human-in-the-loop design, and platform integration
• Establish architecture standards and guardrails covering Responsible AI, privacy, compliance, auditability, model risk, security, identity, and explainability
• Industrialise AI use cases through effective lifecycle management, monitoring, versioning, evaluation, reliability, incident, change, and cost controls
• Align business, IT, architecture, data, cybersecurity, legal, compliance, vendor, and implementation teams around clear AI decisions
• Document AI assets and decisions in LeanIX, connecting architecture insights with portfolio management, risk transparency, and strategic decision-making

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Bring 8+ years of total IT experience, including 3–5 years of architecture experience focused on Data & AI architecture and platforms.
• Apply proven experience designing and implementing scalable, robust architectures for sophisticated enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of AI technologies, concepts, platforms, and enterprise architecture considerations.
• Solve sophisticated architecture challenges through strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
• Communicate sophisticated AI architecture decisions clearly and collaborate optimally across business, technical, risk, and compliance communities.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Communicate expertly in English at C1 level or above.
