Job summary

Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Pune is seeking a Lead Solution Architect for Agentic AI in manufacturing. You will lead global initiatives and drive pilots and service creation projects, shaping AI capabilities across IT/OT.

You will transform whiteboard sketches into scalable MVPs and convince factory stakeholders with hands-on technical credibility, while mentoring teams across Siemens’ global factories.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business informatics, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of international manufacturing or IT experience with multi-cultural teams.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in cloud technologies, modern architectures, and automated DevOps pipelines.
• In-depth knowledge of IT/OT environments, Edge and IoT connectivity, and industrial protocols (OPC UA, MQTT).
• Advanced knowledge of agentic AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Your mission will be:

• As a highly skilled, hands-on, and motivated, you will be responsible for leading global Siemens-wide initiatives for Agentic AI solutions in the manufacturing area.
• You are responsible for driving pilots and service creation projects as well as for acting as an inspiring leader and key implementer for agentic AI in the IT/OT domain.
• If you are creative, and fast-moving DevOps Engineer/Architect who has a background in IT/OT or manufacturing. You will seamlessly transition from sketching a new solution on a whiteboard to directly implementing it, convincing factory stakeholders with your hands-on technical credibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architect & Implementer: Build sophisticated agentic AI solutions based on modern AI Agent frameworks and IT standards. You will quickly build fast, creative MVP solutions and rapidly extend them into solid DevOps pipelines.
• AIOps for OT Ownership: Own and scale an emerging Industrial AIOps portfolio that automates the operation of thousands of OT assets across our factories.
• Lead Innovation & Customer Zero: Lead hands-on activities to pilot and deploy new Siemens product innovations around Agentic AI in close collaboration with our internal factories.
• Use Case Architect: Identify and design high-impact opportunities for agentic AI solutions in the IT/OT domain in close alignment with factory stakeholders.
• Thought Leadership: Act as an inspiring leader with vision, consultant, and enabler of the industrial AI transformation, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI and physical shop-floor realities.
• Foster Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with business units, IT teams, product teams, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes. Act as a role model for cross-company collaboration as part of #OneTechCompany.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• Education: Master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, business informatics, or a similar field.
• Experience: Expert know-how and 5+ years of experience in international manufacturing and/or IT organizations, collaborating with multi-cultural teams of experts with total of 10-13 years of experience.
• DevOps Mastery: Expert know-how and 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies, modern architectures, and building automated DevOps pipelines.
• IT/OT Connectivity: In-depth knowledge of IT/OT environments, including Edge and IoT connectivity, industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT), and the unique operational requirements of a factory floor.
• Agentic AI: Advanced, hands-on knowledge of modern agentic AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.
• Leadership & Drive: A fast-moving, creative, and senior mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring complex technical topics into physical implementation.
• Languages: Excellent communication in English is mandatory.
