Job summary

Jindal Power is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer for the Ash Handling Plant (Wet Ash System) to ensure 100% availability and reliable operation of the Ash Dyke, pumps, clarifiers and disposal lines, coordinating with Operations for rapid fault resolution.

You will monitor thickness survey reports, plan pipe rotations or replacements, track defects and PM, collect data, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement through spares refurbishment and new ideas.

Qualifications

• Experience with O&M of Ash Handling (Wet Ash System).
• Knowledge of equipment history documentation and SOPs.
• Technical trouble shooting across electrical, C&I and civil domains.
• Ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance of the Ash Handling Plant (Wet Ash System & Ash Dyke area).
• Ensure 100 % Availability of Ash Handling System.
• Oversee System Healthiness wrt Ash Dyke, pumps, clarifiers, and disposal lines.
• Monitor thickness survey reports for Ash Disposal and Bottom Ash lines; plan rotations/replacements.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance of the Ash Handling Plant (Wet Ash System & Ash Dyke area).
• Ensuring 100 'X Availability of Ash Handling System.
• Responsible for System Healthiness wrt: Ash Dyke, Ash Slurry Pumps, Ash Water Pumps, Guard/Treated Water Pumps, Clarifiers, Collecting Tower, Bottom Ash Disposal Line, Ash Disposal Line up to Ash Dyke etc.
• Regular Monitoring & Follow Up for Thickness Survey Report wrt: Ash Disposal & Bottom Ash Disposal Line & accordingly timely action for pipeline Rotation/Replacement.
• Monitoring of Ash Dyke and Controlled Measurement's for Fugitive Emission Control.
• Ens are availability of Soares and other Infrastructure for Maintenance of Ash Handling Plant.
• Minimize response time to the customer (i.e. Operations) for handling routine day-to-day problems.
• Monitoring Defect/PM and Availability of Equipment.
• Data collection, Analysis and Bench Marking.
• Root Cause Analysis with its Action Plan.
• Spares Refurbishment - Exporing New Ideas.
