Job summary

Technosys Equipments is seeking an experienced AGV design & development professional to lead end-to-end control systems for indoor and outdoor platforms. The role covers software design, integration and deployment, with emphasis on vehicle controls, sensors, and reliable base-station communication.

The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of hands-on AGV experience, proficiency in wiring diagrams and BOM costing, and exposure to IoT/Cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• End to End responsible for AGV design & deployment from the control perspective.
• Design, coded, tested & debug system software; review design, integrate & validate new product designs.
• 5–6 years of proficient experience in AGV design & development; strong teamwork.
• Vehicle controls design and vehicle sensors knowledge is essential.
• Vehicle to Base station communication and odometer control knowhow.
• BOM, wiring diagrams and costing familiarity.
• Exposure to IoT/Cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Should have knowledge of application of Line follower, Inductive, RFID, SLAM based Navigation systems & user interface for indoor & outdoor AGVs.
• Selection, interfacing & hands on programming of Safety PLC, PLC, Area scanners, Traction & Steering motors interfaces.
• Sound knowledge in working with AGV design architecture & machine controls.
• Should be able to work independently on AGV platform from Scheduling to installation at customer site.
• Monitor Health, Fault management & support to the service team.
• Exposure to peripheral equipment handshake from AGV would be an added advantage.
• Energetic and keen to adapt latest technologies in communication and interface; punctual on timelines.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Should have knowledge of application of Line follower, Inductive, RFID, SLAM [LiDAR] based Navigation systems & user interface - for indoor & outdoor AGV's
2. Selection, Interfacing & hands on programming of Safety PLC, PLC, Area scanners, Traction & Stering motors interface and so on & should have flair to indigenize as much as possible while meeting
3. Sound knowledge in working with AGV design architecture & machine controls
4. Should be able to work independently on AGV plat form from Scheduling to installation @ customer site
5. Should be able to monitor Health, Fault management & support to the serv ice team
6. Exposure to peripheral equipment handshake from AGV would be an added advantage
7. Candidate should be energetic and keen to adapt latest technologies in communication and interface & should have punctual on timelines
