Yogini Tradex in Guwahati is seeking an experienced Agronomist for Napier Grass farming to lead large-scale biomass cultivation from land preparation to harvest and supply. The role demands hands-on field work and end-to-end farm cycle ownership.

You will plan cultivation programs, manage irrigation, soil health, fertilisation, pests, weeds and workforce, while coordinating with procurement and management to ensure biomass availability and profitability.

• Strong practical knowledge of Napier plantation, irrigation, fertilisation, harvesting and regrowth management.

• Experience in biomass/fodder crop cultivation will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with only theoretical/agricultural knowledge and without practical large-scale Napier farming experience should not apply.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.Sc. In Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field.
• Relevant practical experience in Napier Grass farming is mandatory.
