Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI) in Bengaluru invites engineers to join our automotive R&D team. You will analyze 3D CAD data, develop digital repair methods, and evaluate repair concepts across carlines and engine types.

You will document repair methods in the database, coordinate with multiple departments, and contribute to continuous improvement. Experience in After Sales documentation and 3D CAD analysis are valued, with knowledge of EC systems and MB workshop processes

Qualifications

• Min 1-3 years’ experience in After Sales/technical documentation/simulation/publication.
• Good knowledge on automotive components/systems and its functioning is must.
• Experience in repairs & maintenance of cars would be useful.
• Experience in 3D CAD data analysis is a must.
• Experience in any Engineering Change Management system.
• Knowledge in computer programming & German language are added advantages.
• Knowhow of MB aftersales processes in MB workshops is desired.

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis of Engineering data (3D CAD).

• Develop understanding of carlines and engine types in MBC.

• Research Daimler AW-System based on MTM-Systematic.
• (Optional) Plan AW-System for new car models in DC-Repa.
• (Optional) Derive standard times via MTM-Systematic.

• Research and analysis of Engineering data (3D CAD)

• Co-ordinate with different departments for updates on the above
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the specified working area
• Research and analysis of Daimler AW-System based on MTM-Systematic
• (Optional) Planning of the AW-System for new car-models in DC-Repa (Daimler AW-Tool)
• (Optional) Derive Standard Times via MTM-Systematic (AW: repair time for workshops)
