Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an experienced facilities manager to lead daily property operations at a Chennai-area site. You will manage client activities, implement building procedures, and drive safety and efficiency across the facility.

The role requires 6–8 years in facilities management, SCEM certification preferred, and a strong background in contract management, budget oversight, and stakeholder engagement. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of experience in facilities management or related fields.
• SCEM certification favored; knowledge of occupational safety and life sciences environment is a plus.
• Strong background in contract management, budget oversight, customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly analytical and able to resolve complex issues with quantitative and holistic approaches.
• Goal-oriented management with emphasis on health and safety, vendor management and systems oversight.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

To apply you need to be

• Adept in facilities management with six to eight years of experience in facilities management or other related fields
• Possessing a SCEM certification, a working knowledge of occupational safety, and exposure to a life sciences environment may also give leverage
• Having a solid background in contract management, budget supervision, customer service and stakeholder engagement
• Highly analytical and engaging, able to resolve complex issues through quantitative methods and holistic approaches
• Goal‑oriented manager, expert in health and safety requirements, vendor management and property technical systems management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
