Job Title:  Affirmative Action Program Executive

Location:  Bengaluru

Reporting to:  Manager Affirmative Action

Employment Type:  Full‑Time

Role Summary

The Affi­rmative Action Program Coordinator will work with the AA/CSR project lead to support Titan AA/CSR initiatives aimed at marginalized communities, focusing on Tribal Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), visually impaired student education programs, and the Titan Scholarship Program. The role involves close coordination with educational institutions, NGOs, internal teams and government bodies to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
1. Tribal ITIs Engagement (Direct Implementation)
  • Coordinating with Tribal ITIs for the IMC related discussions and meetings.
  • Facilitate infrastructure support, faculty training, and student exposure programs.
  • Coordinate with IMC for the audit, society renewal and account maintenance.
  • Monitor outcomes and track improvements in employability among tribal youth.
  • Coordinate with ITI for admission, placement and industrial visit.
2. Visually Impaired School Project
  • Liaise with schools and NGOs supporting visually impaired students.
  • Coordinate with the NGO partners for the smooth implementation of the scholarship program.
  • Organize volunteer engagement and mentorship programs.
  • Evaluate project impact on academic and social inclusion outcomes.
  • Coordinate with school management for the admission and higher education.
3. Titan Scholarship Program (Direct Implementation)
  • Monitoring the Titan scholarship portal for the end‑to‑end process.
  • Manage outreach, application and selection processes for underprivileged yet deserving students.
  • Ensure transparency, documentation and timely disbursement of scholarships.
  • Track academic performance and provide necessary student support.
  • Prepare annual impact reports and success stories for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with CFT for the process development and implementation of outcomes.
  • Handle the student’s communication and document evaluation and generate the payment process report.
  • Coordinate the interview process and validate the interview outcomes for the shortlist of potential candidates as per the scheme.
  • Coordinate with finance for payment release timely for fresh and continuation scholars.
  • Conduct the survey for outgoing scholars to strengthen the process.
  • Coordinate with tech developer to resolve day‑to‑day issues and process improvements.
General Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with finance, legal and procurement teams for project execution.
  • Update the school intervention program and infrastructure support in the NSNOP portal.
  • Maintain project documentation, MIS and reports in alignment with CSR compliance norms.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, volunteering activities and external visits.
  • Handle all types of payments related to AA, CSR & CDF.
  • Build partnerships with government agencies, academic institutions and community leaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Education, Development Studies or related fields.
  • 2‑3 years of relevant experience in CSR, affirmative action or community development projects.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local languages.
  • Willingness to travel to rural and semi‑urban project locations.

  • Experience working with tribal populations and/or persons with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of CSR frameworks and affirmative action mandates under Indian law.
