Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an experienced engineer to own the design and development of the Cabin Interior Seating subsystem. You will validate design deliverables across the product lifecycle and lead reviews to ensure milestones are met using CATIA V5.

You will apply design processes, manage changes, and drive risk mitigation with DFMEA and GD&T while coordinating inputs from customers and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Accountable for checking and validating design deliverables produced within design organisation throughout product lifecycle.
• Lead design reviews and ensure on time delivery of engineering milestones.

• Knowledge management and design optimization for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for checking and validating design deliverables produced within design organisation throughout product lifecycle.
• Lead design reviews and ensure on time delivery of engineering milestones.
• Responsible for applying processes and methods for product design and ensuring process compliance through change management, design optimization, DFMEA, GD&T, design for manufacture and knowledge management.
• Complete ownership of Design and development of Cabin Interior Seating sub-system using CATIA V5 software.
• Development of Concept and Master sections, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and deliverable cadence (CATIA V5)
• Co-ordinate with customer SPOC reagrding work packages & gather all inputs.
• Works with Design and manufacturing team regarding design and refurbishment of Seating parts.
• Should be able to work on Layout of Passenger Accommodation(LOPA). Prefer knowledge of Ergonomics and Aerospace standards
• Should Create design guidelines and best practices for aggregate integration
• Track and highlight key risks and mitigation mechanisms
• Guide team for debugging support, risk mitigation ensuring Lean design methodology.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering team to meet project Milestone
