Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering required.
• 3–4 years of experience in interior CAD integration in aerospace or regulated industry.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE for part/assembly design and kinematics.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, fasteners, sheet metal, plastics, and composites.
• Experience with digital mock-ups, clash detection, and interface management in large assemblies.
• Ability to read, create, and release engineering drawings to production standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and integrate 3D CAD models of cabin and cockpit interiors within the master aircraft digital mock-up.
• Perform packaging studies, clearance checks, and mechanism kinematics in CAD.
• Define and manage interfaces between interior components and airframe structure, electrical harnesses, and other systems.
• Convert Class-A surfaces into engineered, tooled-part geometry with appropriate tolerances.
• Produce and maintain production-intent drawings, BOMs, and CAD data packages for suppliers and in-house fabrication.
• Support ergonomics evaluations with accurate interior geometry.

JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an Interior CAD Integrator toown the digital integration of the e200X cabin and cockpit. You will takedesign intent - seats, stretcher systems, trim panels, doors and hatches, transparencies, stowage, and interior mechanisms and integrate it into theaircraft-level CAD environment, resolving packaging, clearances, structuralinterfaces, and system routing with engineering teams. This role sits at theheart of turning industrial design into a certifiable, manufacturable aircraftinterior.

KeyResponsibilities

• Build, manage, and integrate detailed 3D CAD models of cabin and cockpit interiorassemblies - seating (including paramedic seat and stretcher provisions), trimpanels, flooring, doors/hatches, and transparencies - within the masteraircraft digital mock-up.
• Performpackaging studies, clearance and interference checks, ingress/egressassessments, and mechanism kinematics (doors, hatches, seat adjusters, stowage)in CAD.
• Define andmanage interfaces between interior components and airframe structure,electrical harnesses, ECS, and other systems; maintain interface controldocumentation.
• ConvertClass-A/industrial design surfaces into engineered, tooled-part geometry withappropriate attachment schemes, tolerances, and material thicknesses.
• Produce andmaintain production-intent drawings, BOMs, and CAD data packages for suppliersand in-house fabrication, following configuration management and PLMdiscipline.
• Supportergonomics and human factors evaluations (e.g., DELMIA human modelling) withaccurate, up-to-date interior geometry.

Requirements

• Bachelor'sdegree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 to 4 yearsof experience in interior/mechanical CAD integration in aerospace, automotive,or a comparable regulated industry.
• Strongproficiency in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE (part design, generative shape design,assembly design, kinematics); experience working within a PLM environment.
• Solid graspof mechanical design fundamentals: fastening and attachment strategies,tolerancing and GD&T, sheet metal, plastics, and composite part design.
• Experiencewith digital mock-up practices - clash detection, zoning, packaging, andinterface management in large assemblies.
• Ability toread, create, and release engineering drawings to production standards.
• Strongcross-functional communication - you will work daily with industrial designers,structures, systems, and certification engineers.
• Ownership ofthe digital interior of an Indian eVTOL aircraft heading into its real-aircraftbuild phase.
