Job summary

PwC Bengaluru is seeking a Manager to shape Tax Operations delivery for a global client portfolio. You will lead cross-border transitions, oversee governance, and collaborate with leadership to optimize capacity and talent strategy.

You will drive automation and transformation initiatives while building leadership pipelines and ensuring risk & compliance across teams in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate with extensive experience in US Tax and Financial Operations.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in tax operations and people leadership.
• Proven experience managing large teams and complex global transitions.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and scale operations.
• Flexible to work from office.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term strategy for Tax Operations delivery.
• Identify and lead large‑scale transitions from New York to COE.
• Provide oversight and governance across all teams and processes.
• Review overall team performance, risk metrics, and compliance outcomes.
• Act as the senior escalation point for stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive innovation, automation, and transformation initiatives.
• Partner with global leadership on capacity, budgeting, and talent strategy.
• Build a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan.
