Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking a frontend developer to design and implement responsive interfaces with a mobile-first mindset. You will work with design systems, JAM stack concepts, and content authors to ensure accessible, performant experiences.

Proficiency in JavaScript, modern tooling, and REST/GraphQL APIs will help you translate business requirements into elegant solutions. This role is based in India (Uttar Pradesh) and emphasizes collaboration across engineering and content teams.

The opportunity

General Skills

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.


• Familiarity with any known CMS with functional knowledge of template editor and content author roles.


• Understanding of content authoring and ensuring usability and intuitiveness for a content author while using a CMS.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in responsive design and mobile first application design.


• Familiarity in Adobe XD, or other design tools such as Sketch or Figma.


• Expertise in Design systems, Style guides, Pattern libraries


• Expertise in front-end development, especially JAM stack


• In depth knowledge in HTML5, CSS3, knowledge of BEM methodology is preferred.


• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.


• Detailed knowledge of JavaScript(ES6).


• Experience with Atomic design paradigm is a plus.


• Familiarity with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.


• Understanding of Web Accessibility WCAG guidelines.


• Understanding of information architecture and creating appropriate content structuring


• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.


• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.


• Deep understanding of core web vitals, web performance optimization techniques and best practices.


• A knack for benchmarking and optimization, familiarity with finding performance insights using browser dev tool.


• Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.


• Familiarity with Micro Front End concepts and Headless Implementation would be a plus.
