Job summary

Bahwan CyberTek is seeking a skilled AEM developer in Hyderabad to design, implement, and optimize Adobe Experience Manager components, templates, and workflows. You will work on UI customizations, schedulers, and modern integration patterns within a retail-focused AEM environment.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on AEM experience, strong Java and OSGi/Sling knowledge, and familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures (GCP/Kubernetes).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Deep Java expertise (Java 21+ preferred) and mastery of AEM OSGi and Sling ecosystems.
• Proficiency in AEM architecture, including UI customizations, workflows, schedulers, and template development.
• Familiarity with AEM monitoring tools and high-traffic retail environments.
• Experience with DevOps, automated CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures (GCP/Kubernetes).

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and customize AEM UI, workflows (custom and OOB), schedulers, and components to support studio processes.
• Design, code, and test new and existing AEM software components and templates.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve production issues and software-related bottlenecks in AEM environments.
• Maintain and enhance existing software applications while identifying security and performance improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to engineering excellence.
• AI-Accelerated Development: Utilize AI-integrated IDEs (e.g., Cursor) and LLMs (e.g., Gemini, Qodo) to rapidly prototype, generate boilerplate, and refactor Java-based AEM services and components.
• Leverage AI tools to generate comprehensive unit tests, perform automated code reviews, and maintain high-quality documentation (Sling Models, OSGi services, and API specs) as the platform evolves.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
