Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced AEM developer to design and deliver enterprise-grade components, templates, and workflows for multi-site publishing. You will collaborate with product owners, UI/UX, and front-end developers to translate business needs into scalable solutions and ensure secure, high-performance experiences.

The role emphasizes mentoring, CI/CD, and cloud migrations with AEM Cloud Service, Dispatchers, and MSM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total software development experience.
• 3+ to 5+ years hands-on AEM development (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service).
• Deep understanding of Sling, OSGi, JCR/CRX.
• Proficiency in HTL, Granite UI, and Sling Models.
• Experience configuring Dispatchers, replication agents, and Cloud Manager pipelines.
• Java, REST, and enterprise design patterns.
• Front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with Maven, Webpack, Babel, Git, Jenkins; familiarity with JUnit/Mockito.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience; good communicator; problem-solver.
• Adobe Certified Expert credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 5+ years of total software development experience
• 3+ to 5+ years of hands‑on technical experience specifically with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service)
• Deep understanding of Apache Sling, Apache Felix (OSGi), JCR, and CRX
• Proficiency in Touch UI components using Granite UI, HTL, and Sling Models
• Experience configuring Dispatchers, replication agents, and Cloud Manager pipelines
• Advanced proficiency in Core Java / J2EE, REST web services, and enterprise design patterns
• Front‑end foundation in HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript (ES6+), SCSS, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, or Vue
• Experience with Maven, Webpack, Babel, Git, Jenkins, and Adobe Cloud Manager
• Familiarity with JUnit and Mockito
• Strong background working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Adobe‑certified expert credentials, headless content delivery, and Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem tools are a plus, not required
