Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking a finance analytics professional in Bengaluru to implement ABS Suite configurations and support structured finance cashflow modelling. The role blends data analysis, reporting, and client collaboration within the Professional Services team.

You will work with SQL, SSRS, Crystal/JasperReports and SQL queries to deliver client-ready solutions, with opportunities to travel to client sites for onsite engagements.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of exposure to banking, credit and/or financial industry.
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks with strong excel skills.
• Working knowledge of RDBMS concepts and SSRS, Crystal Reports or JasperReports is a plus.
• Working knowledge of SQL (query), VBA, and/or Python is preferred.
• Working knowledge with AI tools is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity and to work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work with the MA Issuer Solution implementation team to implement and configure ABS Suite and related products.
• Theoretical understanding of advanced financial concepts, swap payments, reconciliations, caps, floors and participation in cashflow modelling for structured finance.
• Facilitate use of technology-based tools to review, design and implement securitization products and services.
• Participate in client meetings and due diligence sessions with responsibility to document business requirements.
• Provide input on client requirements to senior team member and product management.
• Develop reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, JasperReports.
• Develop business requirements, design and execute SQL queries, and test solutions to meet client requirements.
• Support clients by answering business questions with applications and assist the team on technical presentations at client sites.

Skills And Competencies

• Support clients by answering business related questions with the applications and assist the team on technical presentations and travel as needed to client sites for on-site visit

About The Team

The Professional Services team provides for the implementation of Moody’s Analytics’ Issuer tools and Solutions. This may include customization of the solutions, as well as development of bespoke solutions, on-site installation, configuration and training services. By joining our team, you will be gaining hands-on exposure to structured finance and consumer loan servicing from both business and technical angles. You'll develop SQL, reporting, and financial modeling skills on real client engagements, working closely with clients and senior team members. You'll build a foundation for a career in fintech and capital markets, contributing to Moody's mission of bringing clarity and confidence to markets.
