Job summary

enGen Global in Chennai is seeking a Lead Business Analyst/Sr Consultant to govern Datawarehouse functions, primarily for Claims data, and to document requirements for enhancing data pipelines into the warehouse.

You will own intake with business stakeholders across US, drive Scrum ceremonies, develop data dictionaries, and ensure data quality. Strong SQL, cloud experience and understanding of Mainframe helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering, IT, or related field.
• 6–9 years of total BA experience.
• Experience as Scrum Master and running ceremonies (Daily Standups, Planning, Retro).
• Proven experience handling US-based stakeholders and Claims domain knowledge.

Job Summary

Role Summary: As Lead Business Analyst/Sr Consultant, you will be part of a team of people responsible for managing and governing Datawarehouse functions at the org level, which predomitly contains Claims data. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and documenting requirement for enhancing data pipeline to ingest data into data warehouse, create file extracts from data warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Play the Business Requirement lead and own intake activities for the team for new / upcoming projects
• Analyze, elicit and document requirements and use cases to create or enhance data pipelines to ingest data (mostly claims) into enterprise data warehouse
• Understand the big / end to end picture of the requirements / projects and transfer the knowledge to team members
• Collaborate with US team members, business team other stakeholders, ensure the business requirements documented and developed are accurate and solves business problems
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, documentation, and STTM to support warehouse goverce
• Perform data quality assessments and implement validation rules to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize data integration requests and manage delivery timelines
• Support the implementation of new data tools, technologies, and platforms
• Schedule and facilitate Scrum meetings including Sprint planning, Daily Scrum and Sprint reviews
• Be the single point of contact for US managers and leaders, and provide regular status updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's / Masters degree in engineering, Technology, IT , Computer Applications or related field
• Around 6 to 9 years of total experience, playing hands on role of a BA
• Good experience playing Scrum master role, conducting various scrum ceremonies including Daily Standup, Planning, Retro etc.
• Proven experience in handling US based stakeholders
• Excellent analytical Problem-solving skills
• In depth knowledge and working experience in US Healthcare industry (Payor), especially around Claims domain (not claims operator)
• Good knowledge of SQL and ability to write and execute simple to medium complex queries
• Strong written Verbal communication skills
• Good to have Familiarity of Datawarehouse concepts
• Experience within Digital Ai (Version one)
• Understanding of Mainframe applications / code
• Experience in Google Cloud or any public cloud
