The role demands strong project coordination and a track record in Automotive/Industrial purchasing with 12–18 years of experience.

Qualifikationen

• 12–18 years of experience in Off-highway/ Automotive/ Industrial industries.
• Strong project coordination and execution skills.
• MBA or equivalent adds advantage.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Commodity and Supplier teams.
• Drive component development activities for new and existing products.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, milestone trackers and dashboards.
• Monitor development status and identify delays or risks.
• Coordinate with Commodity Purchasing for supplier identification and RFQ.
• Work with suppliers to ensure tooling, prototypes, samples and readiness.
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality/QA for APQP/PPAP and approvals.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and close actions.
• Track critical-path components and escalate delays.

Job Purpose

• This role is responsible for Project Coordinator – Advance Purchasingto drive and coordinate purchasing activities forNew Product Development (NPD) and current product enhancement projects.
• The role will involve close coordination with Project Management, Engineering, Commodity Purchasing, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and suppliersto ensure timely component development, sourcing, validation, and readiness in line with project milestones

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate withProject, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Production, Commodity and Supplier teamsto ensure successful execution of new product development projects.
• Drivecomponent development activitiesfor new and existing products in accordance with project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain detailedproject schedules, milestone trackers, action plans and MIS dashboards.
• Monitor supplier-wise and part-wise development status and proactively identify potential delays and risks.
• Coordinate with Commodity Purchasing teams forsupplier identification, RFQ, quotation analysis, commercial evaluation and supplier finalization.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely completion oftooling, prototypes, samples, trials, validation and production readiness.
• Coordinate with Supplier Quality/QA teams forAPQP, PPAP, quality approvals and resolution of development-related issues.
• Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure timely closure of open actions.
• Track critical-path components and elevate delays/issues to relevant stakeholders.

Experience Required

• 12 to 18 years of experience in Off-highway/ Automotive/ Industrial industry preferred
• Strong project coordination and execution skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree / Diploma in Engineering + MBA (added advantage)
