Job summary

HARMAN Automotive in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with AI/ML focus to design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists to deploy and monitor ML models, optimize storage and processing for performance and cost, and ensure data quality, security, and governance.

Strong Python, SQL, Hadoop/Spark and cloud experience are required.

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in AI/ML to design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

• Design and implement data pipelines for AI/ML models
• Build and maintain data infrastructure for data science and engineering teams
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy and monitor ML models
• Optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance

What You Need to Be Successful:

• 6-9 years of experience in data engineering with AI/ML focus
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and deployment
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data tools
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and best practices

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience with deep learning, NLP, or computer vision
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
