Job summary

HARMAN India is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop production-ready software within an AUTOSAR-aware stack. You will analyze specifications, design unit-level components, and create unit test plans for real-time, multiprocessor environments.

Responsibilities include developing CDDs with Vector Davinci tools, configuring BSW as needed, and driver development for AUTOSAR applications. A strong background in CAN/Ethernet/MOST networks is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Science.
• 8+ years in microcontroller embedded software development or testing.
• 8+ years in C or a structured language.
• 6+ years AUTOSAR experience (MCAL, CDDs, BSW config with Davinci).
• Experience in real-time embedded multiprocessor environments.
• Experience with vehicle networks CAN/Ethernet/MOST.
• Experience with RH850, S32k, ARM microcontrollers.

About The Role

The engineer will be responsible for developing production ready software following a defined software development process. The engineer must be capable of analyzing specifications, developing unit designs, developing unit test plans, The engineer must be able to understand the requirements and be able to identify and develop CDDs with tooling from Vector (like Davinci Developer, Davinci Configurator) and other similar AUTOSAR stack. Develops CDD drivers for AUTOSAR application

What You Need

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of microcontroller embedded software development or testing.
• 8+ years of C or other structured language.
• 6+ years of AUTOSAR experience (MCAL, developing CDDs, configuring BSW with Davinci configurator)
• Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment.
• Good experience working with vehicle networking (CAN, Ethernet, MOST, etc).
• Experience with RH850 micro controllers, S32k micro controllers, ARM based development
