Nabors in India is seeking an Operations/Base Manager I to coordinate operational functions across TRS, Machineshop and F&D, aligning production with customer demands and schedules. You will drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding a multi-department team to meet performance targets.
Lead continuous improvement, cost control, and staffing decisions, ensuring efficient resource use and adherence to API standards and ISO certifications.

The Operations/Base Manager I is responsible for coordinating the operational functions of all departments in a designated geographic location, with special emphasis on the operations, towards effective and efficient performance of the TRS, Machineshop and F&D Department

Education: Some form of management training or formal educational experience is preferred. Professional Experience: Skills Technical: 10+ progressive experience in drilling operations is preferred. Supervisory experience is preferred. Skills Communication: Bi-lingual is preferred (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese). Verbal communication skills necessary. Skills People: Ability to interact with individuals in a cross-cultural environment. Leadership and employee development skills. Team oriented. Licenses, Certifications, Credentials, and Other Requirements: Offshore survival and medical certificates as mandated by government regulations are required. Certified in all required safety training programs, including but not limited to underwater safety, firefighting, and helicopter underwater escape. Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
