Job summary

Essex Lake Group in Gurgaon, India seeks an ADG Analyst- Power BI to transform data into insights and build executive dashboards. You will work with SAS/SQL, Excel and Power BI to support business decisions and client delivery. This role is office-based with Monday–Friday work days and evening IST shifts.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in analytics, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders worldwide. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in analytics and BI.
• Experience handling data and delivering BI/insights.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders, gather requirements and communicate clearly.
• Translate business needs into actionable analyses.
• Process large datasets using SAS/SQL and generate insights.
• Create dashboards for executives and clients using Power BI.
• Perform quality control to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Travel to client sites as required for projects.
• Conduct trainings for new joiners on domain/technologies.

Position: ADG Analyst- Power BI

Location: Gurgaon, India

Work Mode: Work from Office (Monday- Friday)

Time: 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST

Overall experience

A minimum of 2-4 years of work experience at leading analytics and business intelligence companies

Extensive experience in data handling, analyses and business intelligence/insights

Key responsibilities

• Directly engage with internal and external stakeholders, gather requirements and manage communication
• Excellent problem-solving skillsets with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate into actionable analyses
• Able to process large datasets using specialized tools like SAS/SQL, analyze the data and create interesting insights
• Develop creative dashboards for executives and working level clients using BI Tool Power BI.
• Able to conduct strong quality control analyses to ensure data quality and integrity
• Willingness to travel to different client sites across the world as per project requirements
• Conduct trainings for new joiners on domain/technologies etc.

Key Skills

• Strong problem-solving skill sets
• Strong knowledge of SAS/SQL to extract and manipulate data
• Strong working knowledge of Business intelligence tool Power BI.
• Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel. VBA experience preferred
• Familiarity with big data tools and platforms (such as Hadoop, Hive, HBase, MAPR, etc.) would be preferred
• Excellent PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication skills (Written/Verbal)
